Mica Miller estate documents claim abuse attempt to hide assets.

Mica Miller estate documents claim abuse, attempt to hide assets. Prior to her death, Mica was in the middle of divorce proceedings with her estranged husband, John-Paul Miller, who is a pastor at Solid Rock Church in The Market Common. According to an affidavit released to ABC15, Mica's sister, Sierra Francis applied to be the special administrator of Mica's estate on May 2, less than a week after her passing and four days before the Robeson County Medical Examiner announced her cause of death as suicide. In the affidavit, Sierra claims Mica said she experienced "abuse and violence" from her husband, John-Paul. The court documents state, Mica told her sister that John-Paul was moving assets that were in his name, such as his car, changing the deed to their house to the church and transferring interest in Crocodile Rocks to one of his sons. Crocodile Rocks is a piano bar in Myrtle Beach. According to Horry County's online land records, the land was transferred from John-Paul Miller to Solid Rock Ministries, Inc on December 15, 2023. Breaking: Records reveal a new timeline in the Madeline Soto case.

Breaking: Records reveal a new timeline in the Madeline Soto case Sterns is charged with first-degree murder in Soto’s death. While the documents released do not give insight into why Sterns was charged with Soto’s death, it does show why Sterns was arrested on charges of sexual battery and child pornography. According to a case supplemental report, a detective interviewed Sterns at the residence he shared with Soto and Soto’s mother. Corresponding audio from the interview shows Sterns was asked exactly where he dropped Soto off, and where he went afterward. Over the course of the conversation, detectives question some details, which appears to lead to Sterns changing his story. You can listen to the interview below. After the interview, the detective checked out video from the complex’s security gate. The report says the detective saw Sterns’ vehicle leaving with a female wearing a green sweater in the front passenger seat. “The female was slumped over to her left, which is an abnormal way for a person to be seated in a vehicle,” the report said. That led detectives to secure the home so they could get a search warrant, the report states.

Shocking new evidentiary documents revealed in Madeline Soto case.

Shocking new evidentiary documents revealed in Madeline Soto case. OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. - New documents in the case against Stephan Sterns, the man accused of killing 13-year-old Madeline Soto, detail what potential evidence law enforcement and detectives have gathered during their investigation. Recently, the state responded to the defense's motion for "demand of discovery," which sought to see what documents, items, phone records, and other elements the state has in its possession before a possible trial. The five-page document provides an itemized list of what the state has in its possession. Various statements, logs, and incident reports from the deputies, detectives, and officers involved in the investigation are included. But other items include affidavits for what appear to be social media accounts possibly tied to Madeline Soto, including ones specifically for Discord and Instagram. There is also an application for tracking information connected to three vehicles -- a 2012 Honda Civic, a 2010 Lincoln, and a 2022 Nissan. It also references "Pen registration," which tracks outgoing signals from a cell phone; arrest warrants, a "firearms trace summary," and the "ME Report." Two of the numbers appear to be connected to Sterns and Jenn Soto, Maddie's mom, FOX 35 has learned. (AOL)

Judge to decide if Kouri Richins will face trial in her husbands murder.

Judge to decide if Kouri Richins will face trial in husbands murder. PARK CITY, Utah -- A Utah woman who authorities say fatally poisoned her husband, then published a children’s book about coping with grief, will appear in court Wednesday for a hearing that will determine whether state prosecutors have enough evidence against her to proceed with a trial. Kouri Richins, 33, faces several felony charges for allegedly killing her husband with a lethal dose of fentanyl in March 2022 at their home in a small mountain town near Park City. Prosecutors say she slipped five times the lethal dose of the synthetic opioid into a Moscow mule cocktail that Eric Richins, 39, drank. She previously tried to kill him with a spiked sandwich on Valentine's Day, charging documents allege. In the months leading up to her arrest in May 2023, the mother of three self-published the children’s book “Are You with Me?” about a father with angel wings watching over his young son after passing away. The book could play a key role for prosecutors in framing the crime as a calculated murder with an elaborate cover-up attempt.

Sheriff asks FBI and State Attorney General to join Mica Miller case The FBI has reportedly been called in to investigate the death of Mica Miller, the wife of a pastor who local authorities said took her own life last month. Miller, 30, was found dead in Lumber State River Park in North Carolina on April 27. She died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Robeson County Sheriff's Office said last week, based on "surveillance footage, interviews, physical evidence, and the examination of the North Carolina Medical Examiner's Office." Her family has urged authorities to further investigate her death, alleging she was abused and groomed by estranged husband John-Paul Miller, 44, the pastor of Solid Rock at Market Common church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was in Charleston, South Carolina, on the night his wife died, the Sheriff's Office said. (Newsweek)

Preach Pastor Miller even though no ones listening.

Loved ones of a pastor’s wife who was found dead in a North Carolina state park with a bullet wound to her head are not convinced she died by suicide, as her husband claims.

Instead, they’re pressing authorities to probe Mica Miller’s death as something potentially more sinister—especially after her husband’s announcement of her death a day after her body was found did little to quell rumors about the tragedy.

“This has to be at least looked into deeply,” Kenn Young, Mica Miller’s friend, told WPDE. “There’s got to be some accountability here, because yeah, a tragic life was lost, and it’s not just as simple as mental health issues.”

Miller’s body was found Saturday in Lumber River State Park, about 70 miles north of the Solid Rock Church at Market Common in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where an obituary said she was a worship leader, graphic designer, youth leader, women’s ministry leader, and an assistant to her husband, John-Paul Miller.

On Sunday, the pastor delivered an entire sermon as usual before revealing the shock news of his wife’s passing. He told his congregation Sunday that her death was “self-induced” and that she “wasn’t well mentally” and was in need of medicine that was “hard to get to her.” He never mentioned Mica Miller by name.

“I got a call late last night, my wife has passed away,” he said. “It was self-induced and it was up in North Carolina.” (Yahoo News)

Mica Miller: Would a more aggressive police investigation have prevented tragedy?

Could a more aggressive PD investigation have prevented a tragedy? Mica Miller threatened to send her estranged pastor husband to jail after he confronted her as she get her slashed tires fixed. Mica, 30, was found dead in Lumbee River State Park in North Carolina on April 27 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She took her own life days after serving her husband John Paul Miller, 44, with divorce papers, and police ruled it a suicide. Miller is accused in court documents of grooming her for years before they wed and of committing her to a hospital to steal her car, which he also put a tracker on. Mica called police at least eight times in the weeks leading up to her death, one of which was at East Coast Honda in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on March 11. (Daily Mail)

Mica Miller, manipulated, abused, and stalked by her husband John.

According to the documents, Miller reported to police that a razor blade was placed in her tire at the Springmaid Pier. She claimed this was the second time a razor had deflated her tire within that week. The report said that as Miller was leaving the pier, she heard a pop and noticed metal protruding from her tire. The responding officer said the metal was a tire deflation device that could be bought online.

Miller believed a suspect, whose name is redacted in the report, may have placed or had the item placed on the tire. The report stated that Miller noticed "strange activity" and believed people were following or watching her. Miller told police that the unidentified suspect had a history of similar actions against her, according to the report.

Shocking details released about alleged killers of Australian surfer brothers and their friend.

Authorities are investigating the possible involvement of more suspects in the murder of the three surfers in Mexico, according to the Baja California state attorney general.

María Andrade said law enforcement have zeroed in on an unspecified number of alleged accomplices in connection to the killing of Australian brothers Callum Robison, 33, and Jake Robinson, 30, and their California friend Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, last week in the Pacific coast seaside town of Ensenada.

'We have more people considering that they could have participated in the investigation,' Andrade told Milenio news outlet on Monday. 'I couldn't tell you the number due to secrecy at this time.'

The attorney general's remarks were made just a day after the families identified the bodies of the surfers.
